About Hannah

Hannah Kuney - is a Texas-based mixed media artist who grew up possessing a love for many things - math and science, but also nature and art. Hannah is an engineer by education but an artist by heart. Hannah first grew her love of art as a child by capturing faces on paper. When she lost her job during the pandemic, Hannah took a leap of faith and leaned into her art.

Her business got its start through pet portraits, but this evolved into abstract and floral paintings. In contrast to portraits, abstract and floral work reveals its form during the art process with fewer constraints. Hannah’s works are inspired by the courage it takes to forge new and uncertain paths.

Hannah knows a piece is done when it feels not only playful and feminine, but also bold. “Heirloom-quality” is the feeling she wants each piece to evoke - that her collectors will want to pass their pieces down for generations.
